WellSpring Acupuncture's founder and clinical director Peggy Huhe holds a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine. Peggy is licensed by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Examiners and has been board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncturists and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In part of her community connections she lecturers, teaching her audiences about the principles of wellness and the meaningful steps that yield significant changes in their lives. Her most recent public forum is called the Zen of Stress.
Peggy is known for her expertise in women's health and enhancing fertility for individuals and couples in both natural and assisted reproductive treatments.She is the creator of WellSpring Acupuncture's "Fertile Waters-Your Reproductive Wellness Program". Which emphasizes nourishing fertility wellness for both men and women. She has spent the last 8 years researching and pioneering the application of Oriental Medicine in the area of infertility and has helped countless women and couples achieve healthy and successful pregnancies. A sought after consultant to many other acupuncturist on the subject of infertility, Peggy acts as an experienced and inspiring mentor.
In addition to reproductive health, Peggy works with patients who have both acute and chronic pain, digestive issues, dermatological concerns, depression, headaches, and respiratory health problems. Peg believes in incorporating a variety of healing modalities in her practice, drawing on various styles of acupuncture, tuina, herbal medicine and nutrition to provide comprehensive care for her patients.In addition, she uses her extensive knowledge to empower her patients with practical solutions to their health care needs that they can take home. Peggy has developed her expertise by emphasizing her post graduate training in nutrition,fertility, digestion,dermatology, and endocrine wellness.
